SUMMER THEATRE CAMP SPECTACULAR
BROADWAY THEATRE CAMP AND MORE!!
10 Exciting Weeks of Camp for your Superstar Camper! Academic Enrichment and tutoring is also available to ALL campers!
Singing
Raise your voice! Students will learn proper singing techniques that apply specifically to performance and audition singing, such as: proper tone production, breath management, extending vocal range, stage presence, ear training, music theory, microphone technique, song selection for solos and more!
Acting
Express yourself! Students will have fun becoming other characters, as they learn the techniques used to express themselves as young actors!
Dancing/Choreography
Move your feet! Students will learn exciting musical theatre choreography and will use these skills to present how movement through dance plays an essential role in the performing arts!
Stagecraft
You have learned how to perform on the stage, now you can learn how to build all the wonderful set pieces that go on it!
Costuming
Learn how costuming can transform a story being told on stage! Students will learn how to bring a character to life through costume design.
PRODUCTION
Students will combine the skills they learned in their singing, acting, dancing, and stagecraft classes with techniques on staging, sound, and lighting and learn how it all comes together to put on a show!
FRIDAY IS SHOW TIME!!
Each camp week will end in a BROADWAY STYLE showcase, where your child will shine! It's a great show for friends and family to celebrate what the students have learned throughout the week. Real theatrical experience on a stage! That's right! The lights, the stage, the music! Can you say #FutureBroadwayStars. I know, I know, we are excited about it too!
****New this year...Film and Video Production Camp. Two FILM-TASTIC WEEKS! Campers will receive expert instruction from industry professionals and certified instructors in film and television production. Students will get hands on learning experience working on go-pro video cameras and HD video cameras to learn the art of story boarding, writing a script, and filming a movie. Campers will also work on computers to edit their movies as well as create graphic design projects for advertising their films. A Red Carpet Junior Film Festival will culminate the week's activities and showcase students' films on the big screen in our state of the art theatre! Ages: 9-17
**Also, NEW -- Hip-Hop Rhythm Nation Camp! Campers will learn techniques in hip-hop dance and choreography, as well as hip-hop/pop vocal technique. Campers will have a showcase presentation in our state of the art Rising Star Theatre stage! Ages: 6-14
NEW SUMMER ROCK CAMP! Yes, we are taking it to a whole new level with this exciting new camp for the budding rock star! This is a fun and energetic music camp for campers who want to learn more about MAKING MUSIC! Who wants to start a band? Whether your camper is interested in vocal or instrumental music, he or she is sure to have lots of fun as he or she learns to jam out on their favorite instruments! Campers will receive expert instruction from music industry professionals and certified teachers in voice, piano, guitar and drums, as well as professional development in the areas of what it takes to make it in the music industry! Students will also have the opportunity to choose from other fine arts electives such as musical theatre, arts and crafts, and choreography. A Musical showcase for family and friends will conclude the week's activities.
LUNCH AND AFTERNOON SNACK ARE FREE AND INCLUDED FOR ALL CAMPERS!

WHAT AGES ARE THE CAMPS FOR?: For children and teens ages 6-17 dependent upon camp week (Students will be divided by age).
Each Camp is $225 per week. Early bird special price of $150 per week (or $1300 for the entire summer) for those who sign up before May 1. Sign up now as limited space is available!
COUNSELOR-IN-TRAINING:
Camp Counselor-In-Training positions available for teens who want to learn the ins and outs of being a camp counselor, while still participating in the camp too! This option is available for teens ages 15-17. Counselor-In-Training camp fee is only $115 per week. Community service hours are also awarded!
Are you enrolling a sibling? We are pleased to offer a 10% discount for second and subsequent siblings enrolled together in a camp week. Siblings must attend in the same week to receive the discount.

Camp activities, classes, and workshops are led by Sandi Russell, South Florida Society for Arts and Culture, Palm Beach Children's Chorus staff and a team of other industry professionals. All camp instructors and camp staff are background screened to ensure the safety of your children.
