9 exciting weeks of Summer Youth Theatre and Cultural/Performing Arts Camps!
For summer 2024, we will follow the Palm Beach School District Calendar. All camps will begin on June 3 and will run until August 2, 2024. We are excited to offer 2 types of summer camp experiences! In addition to our Broadway Theatre Camp (with changing themes each week), we are also offering All Starz Cheer and Dance Camp
Summer 2024 Schedules are as follows:
BROADWAY THEATRE CAMP
Broadway Theatre Camp is excited to announce Four sessions of production camps. Kids will learn all of the ins and outs of putting on a Broadway Style production! Campers will be immersed in the wonderful world of theatre as they learn to develop their characters, sing and learn choreography. Each session will culminate with a live performance for friends and family! Camp hours are 8:30 am -3:30 pm M-F, with extended care available from 3:30 pm -5:30 pm.

Week 1-Camp Broadway (The Best of Broadway): June 3-7, 2024
Week 2-Musical Theatre Bootcamp: (Get Ready! It's Time to Shine!): June 10-14, 2024
Week 3-Camp Broadway-Pure Imagination (Matilda, Willy Wonka and Shrek): June 17-21, 2024
Week 4-Disney on Broadway (Disney's Broadway Magic): June 24-28, 2024
Week 5- For ages 6-8: Disney's Under Sea Adventures (Finding Nemo and the Little Mermaid): July 1-3 2024 (No camp on July 4 and 5)
Week 5- For ages 9-14: Broadway Theatre Camp: Taylor Swift Song Jam Week: July 1-3, 2024 (No Camp on July 4 and 5, 2024).
Week 6-Camp Broadway (Hamilton, Hairspray, and a Little Bit of Hip-Hop): July 8-12, 2024
Week 7-The Greatest Showman Camp (back by popular demand!): July 15-19, 2024
Week 8-Camp Broadway (Lights, Cameras, It's Christmas in July): July 22-26, 2024
Week 9- Camp Broadway (Imagine That! The Stage is Lit: Seussical, Alice in Wonderland, and the Wizard of Oz):
July 29-August 2, 2024
**Youth Campers ages 14-16 may apply to be in our Leadership Program (CIT)
All Broadway Theatre Camp weeks include instruction in monologues and scenes, singing technique, dance/choreography, costuming, Green Screen on camera training. Kids will also have lots of fun with games, crafts and karaoke parties! Each week concludes with a showcase of the stars on Fridays.
ALL STARZ CHEER/DANCE CAMP
Palm Beach Children's Chorus and South Florida Society for Arts and Culture are teaming up to bring another exciting year of All Starz Cheer and Dance Camp this year! With a focus on health and fitness and fun in the All Starz Cheer and Dance Camp! Campers will have fun each day learning cheerleading technique in chants, cheers, healthy voice projection, dance/choreography, performance, fitness, developing self confidence and leadership. There are 9 FUN WEEKS of All Starz Cheer and Dance Camp! Camps run weekly from June 3 - August 2, 2024, Monday-Friday from 8:30 am -3:30 pm, with extended hours available until 5:30 pm.
Camp activities, classes, and workshops are led by Sandi Russell, South Florida Society for Arts and Culture, Palm Beach Children's Chorus staff and a team of other industry professionals. All camp instructors and camp staff are background screened to ensure the safety of your children.

Singing
Raise your voice! Students will learn proper singing techniques that apply specifically to performance and audition singing, such as: proper tone production, breath management, extending vocal range, stage presence, ear training, music theory, microphone technique, song selection for solos and more!
Acting
Express yourself! Students will have fun becoming other characters, as they learn the techniques used to express themselves as young actors!
Dancing/Choreography
Move your feet! Students will learn exciting musical theatre choreography and will use these skills to present how movement through dance plays an essential role in the performing arts!
Dance/Cheer
Dance and Cheer technique for those students registered for ALL STARZ CHEER/DANCE CAMP!
Stagecraft
You have learned how to perform on the stage, now you can learn how to build all the wonderful set pieces that go on it!
Costuming
Learn how costuming can transform a story being told on stage! Students will learn how to bring a character to life through costume design.
PRODUCTION
Students will combine the skills they learned in their singing, acting, dancing, and stagecraft classes with techniques on staging, sound, recording , editing, and lighting and learn how it all comes together to put on a show!
FRIDAY IS SHOW TIME!!
Each camp session will end in a BROADWAY STYLE virtual showcase, where your child will shine! It's a great show for friends and family to celebrate what the students have learned throughout the week. Real theatrical experience! That's right! The lights, the stage, the music! Can you say #FutureBroadwayStars. I know, I know, we are excited about it too!
Lunch and Snacks
Campers will need to bring a lunch and 2 snacks (morning and afternoon snacks), as well as water each day. In keeping with enhanced sanitation concerns, we unfortunately will not be able to store student lunches in the refrigerator or allow lunches to be microwaved, so please be sure to pack lunches accordingly. (Ice packs for cold lunches, and Thermos canisters for warm/cool food may be helpful)
WHAT AGES ARE THE CAMPS FOR?:
Our summer camps are for children and teens ages 5-14; Students will be divided by age. *Leadership program available for youth ages 15-17 for only $140 per week. CIT (Counselors in Training) in our Leadership program will receive community service hours for High School. This is a great way for teens to have a fun camp experience, get leadership training and receive community service credit!

Each Camp HAS BEEN REDUCED TO $280 per week, HOWEVER UNTIL MAY 16, 2023 SIGN UP FOR JUST $224 PER WEEK with the coupon code THEATRE20 !! Sign up now as limited space is available! In person Camp Hours are 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with optional extended care until 5:30 pm. Extended care is offered at an additional fee of $40.
Extended Care
Extended care is offered until 5:30 pm and is charged on a per week basis. Upon registration, please inquire with us directly about our extended care option. Fee will be collected via point of sale on site of camp.
Important: Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we are still continuing to follow the CDC recommended guidelines for social distancing and sanitation. We will also do daily temperature checks of all staff and campers. At any time that a camper or staff member has a fever (temperature over 99.8), has a cough or signs of a cold or appears ill, he or she will be dismissed to go home.
