CAMP THEMES: THE GREATEST SHOWMAN AND DISNEY'S BROADWAY MAGIC CAMPS!
We are so excited for camp and we can't wait to see you there!
It is your time to shine! For ages 6 -14! Counselor in Training Option is available for youth ages 15-17. In each camp day (8:30 am-4:30 pm), students will be divided into age appropriate groups with classes and workshops led by industry professionals that focus on singing, acting, dancing, stagecraft, costuming, production and more! Singing
Raise your voice! Students will learn proper singing techniques that apply specifically to performance and audition singing, such as: proper tone production, breath management, extending vocal range, stage presence, ear training, music theory, microphone technique, song selection for solos and more!
Acting
Express yourself! Students will have fun becoming other characters, as they learn the techniques used to express themselves as young actors!
Dancing
Move your feet! Students will learn exciting musical theatre choreography and will use these skills to present how movement through dance plays an essential role in the performing arts!
Stagecraft
You have learned how to perform on the stage, now you can learn how to build all the wonderful set pieces that go on it!
Costuming
Learn how costuming can transform a story being told on stage! Students will learn how to bring a character to life through costume design.
Production
Students will combine the skills they learned in their singing, acting, dancing, and stagecraft classes with techniques on staging, sound, and lighting and learn how it all comes together to put on a show!
Each camp week will end in a BROADWAY STYLE showcase, where your child will shine! It's a great show for friends and family to celebrate what the students have learned throughout the week. Real theatrical experience on a stage! That's right! The lights, the stage, the music! Can you say #FutureBroadwayStars. I know, I know, we are excited about it too!
For children and teens ages 7-16 (Students will be divided by age)
Each Camp is now $215 per week (Was originally $250)
Students will need a packed lunch, filled water bottle, and snack each day. Students MUST wear closed toe shoes. No flip flops, or sandals. Students should wear comfortable clothing that permits movement for dancing.
Are you enrolling a sibling? We are pleased to offer a 10% discount for second and subsequent siblings enrolled together in a camp week. Siblings must attend in the same week to receive the discount.
10 exciting weeks of Summer Youth Theatre Camp
Camp activities, classes, and workshops are led by Sandi Russell and a team of other performing arts industry professionals. All camp instructors and camp staff are background screened to ensure the safety of your children.
